WIN AWARDS
RICHMOND, VA- Global Web Solutions,
Inc. (GWS) announced today that 3 web sites recently designed by
GWS have been recognized for their quality of design , content
and uniqueness. The contest was held by the Richmond Times-Dispatch's Metro Business
Monthly. The contest is open to all small businesses in the
central Virginia area. The awards noted are:

The Richmond Braves'
and W.J. Rapp websites were both designed by GWS.
The Low Frequency web site is a personal endeavor of one of
GWS's designers.
The monthly magazine
printed the results of the third annual contest in the July, 2000
issue, which hit newsstands on June 28. Metro Business Monthly
based their rankings on design, content, and navigation, choosing
between 160 entries.
The Richmond Braves launched their web site at www.rbraves.com
in 1997 to better assist fans with information on tickets,
scheduling, souvenirs, and the team itself. The site is updated
daily with scores and transactions, as well as late-breaking news
from The Diamond. In early 1999, the Richmond Braves
contracted GWS to perform a site design
overhaul and handle all site management and hosting
services. RBraves.com received another site revision prior to the beginning
of the 2000 season.
W.J. Rapp launched
their web site at www.wjrapp.com
in 1997. In late 1999, W.J. Rapp contracted GWS to perform a site re-design from scratch. A logo
was given to GWS along with total creative
freedom with the design.
Low Frequency Design
launched their web site at www.lowfrequency.com
in 1999. The site was designed by one of GWS's
own designers as a personal endeavor and the site continues to
host with GWS.
