QUALCOMM'S EUDORA LITE V3.06 SETUP

To set-up an e-mail account in Eudora Lite, follow these simple steps:

Click on "Getting Started" icon in the left column. Enter the following information:
- POP account: compiled of 2 different pieces of information: your email address and Global Web's POP server name. The example shown (see picture below) is for a user named John Doe, whose email is jdoe@globalweb.net. This individual's account name in Eudora Lite would be jdoe%globalweb.net@ipop3.globalweb.net. Another example: if your email is jdoe@acme.com, then the account name you would need to enter in Eudora Lite would be jdoe%acme.com@ipop3.globalweb.net.
  (Note the use of the "%" (percent sign) in the first portion of account name!)
- Make the other selections as noted in the screen shot below.
Click on the "Personal Info" icon in the left column and enter your email address in the "Return Address" field. See screen shot below:
Next, click on the "Hosts" icon in the left column, and enter the information for the SMTP Server as ismtp.globalweb.net. See picture below.
Next, click on the "Checking Mail" icon in the left column. Match the selections as shown below:
Next, click on the "Sending Mail" icon in the left column. Match the selections shown below:
Now click on "Check Mail" button, enter your password, and you are all set!
